Khaled Baranbo, Sales Representative


Khaled is a licensed sales representative registered with RE/MAX Aboutowne Realty Corp. in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He is specialized in the sale of small to medium sized businesses and commercial real estate transactions. Khaled has developed great relationships with a large database of business sellers and buyers and also has access to a large number of Franchised businesses that are looking for good franchisees/partners. 

He brings around 15 years of experience in market research, strategic business planning, financial analysis, business valuation, investment management and M&A transactions.

Recently he consulted for almost 2 years with one of the longest standing middle market mergers & acquisitions and succession planning advisory companies in North America. 

In this capacity, he contributed to the development of the Business Acquisition Search Service including its process, marketing materials and contracts.  He also contributed to several acquisition search assignments on behalf of mid-market Canadian acquirers within diversified industries, and achieved remarkable results. 

Previously he managed the investment portfolio of one of the leading Private Equity Groups (PEGS) in the Middle East. In this capacity, he was in charge of sourcing, scrutinizing and executing complex acquisition transactions in the middle market segment. His responsibilities extended beyond closing the acquisition transactions into participating in the board governance and growth initiatives of acquired companies, where he achieved notable successes. In this role, Khaled was involved in executing direct acquisition investments, private equity fund investments and co-investments alongside other fund managers. Khaled is very thorough when it comes to Investment Due Diligence, and has led very complex business valuation, market/industry assessment and feasibility study projects. 

Prior to this role, Khaled headed the Corporate Planning Department of a large industrial conglomerate, and was responsible for setting up strategic business plans on both the corporate and strategic business unit levels, while also monitoring the periodical performance.  

Khaled has a deep and proven experience, understanding and track record with the governance of family owned enterprises and managing the sensitivities and dynamics of such complex organizations. 

Khaled holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and he is a Certified Private Equity Specialist. He is also licensed as a Real Estate Sales Representative from the Real Estate Council of Ontario.

Khaled has participated in numerous training programs covering strategy and leadership, and has written articles in industry publications and participated in several private equity investment conferences where he spoke as a panelist.
